mechanix.club is a club for people who love mechanical things. These rules keep it a good place to talk shop. By signing up you agree to follow them.
Talking
- Respect the people you talk to. Insults, harassment, threats, hate speech and discrimination are not allowed.
- Stay on the board's topic; the chatter board is there for everything else.
- No spam, no advertising without the administration's agreement, no referral links, no posting the same message in several topics.
- Do not pose as another person, a moderator or the administration.
- Do not post other people's personal data: phone numbers, addresses, documents, photos of people without their consent.
- Respect copyright: credit your sources and do not post others' work in full without permission.
- One member, one account. A new account made to dodge a ban is banned.
Marketplace
- Sell only what you have and have the right to sell.
- Describe the condition honestly, with your own photos. Replicas and homages are allowed only when the title and description say so plainly.
- The price, currency and contact must be real. Mark the listing sold once it is.
- Deals are made between members directly. The club is not a party to them, does not check the goods and is not responsible for payment or delivery. Be careful: do not pay strangers in advance, agree on a safe handover.
Not for sale
- firearms, ammunition, explosives, their essential parts and anything that needs a licence to trade;
- narcotic and psychotropic substances, prescription medicines;
- stolen goods, unmarked fakes, documents;
- anything else whose trade the law restricts.
The arms board is about mechanics, history, care and safe handling. Accessories that need no licence (cases, cleaning kits, optics that are not weapons themselves) are fine; when in doubt, ask the moderators first.
Moderation
Moderators may hide posts and listings, lock topics and ban accounts for a time or for good. A banned member sees the reason on signing in. Every moderator action is recorded in a log.
If you see something against the rules, press "Report" next to the post, listing or profile. The author never learns who reported.

Age
The club is for people aged 16 and over. The marketplace and the arms board are for adults only.
