These terms describe how mechanix.club works and on what basis you use it. By creating an account you agree to them, to the club rules and to the privacy policy.
Your account
- Give a real email address: confirmation and password-reset emails go to it.
- You keep your password safe. If you think someone else uses your account, change the password on your profile — every other session is ended.
- You can delete your account at any time on your profile. What happens to your data is described in the privacy policy.
Your content
- Your posts, listings, photos and collection stay yours. By publishing them you let the club show them on the site, in search engines and in link previews for as long as they are published.
- You confirm you have the right to publish them and that they break neither the law nor the rules.
- When you delete your account your forum posts stay, so discussions keep making sense, but are signed "Deleted member".
Marketplace
The club only provides the place for listings. Deals are made between members directly; the club is not a party to them, does not check goods, takes no payments and is not responsible for quality, delivery or payment.
Liability
The site is provided as is. We do our best to keep it available and safe, but cannot promise it never goes down, and we are not responsible for what members post. Use forum advice wisely: servicing watches, cars and arms is at your own risk.
Bans
Breaking the rules can get an account banned for a time or for good and its content hidden.
Changes
We announce substantial changes to these terms on the site in advance. By using the club after a change you accept the new version.
